Undergraduate Program Administrator
Kate Anable is the Undergraduate Program Administrator and the Department Administrator. As the Undergraduate Program Administrator, she is available to freshmen and sophomores interested in concentrating in Social Studies, as well as concentrators in need of general advising or help with student records. As Department Administrator, she oversees all administrative aspects of the Social Studies program. She serves on the Admissions Committee, Board of Advisors, Board of Instruction, and the Student Affairs Committee.

Anya Bernstein Bassett is the Director of Undergraduate Studies. As Director of Undergraduate Studies, she is available for general academic advising as well as for discussions with students who wish to pursue joint concentrations, independent studies, unusual paths within Social Studies, or who have concerns about their progress or ideas about how the concentration can be improved.
Katie Greene is the assistant to the Director and provides administrative support for both Social Studies 98 and 99. Students may feel free to contact her about matters pertaining to the junior or senior tutorials, Social Studies events, and the department website.
Heather Jacques is the assistant to the Department Administrator and the Chair, and provides administrative support for Social Studies 10 and Social Studies 40. Students may contact her with questions about sophomore tutorials and concentration status, and with general concerns.

Dr. Newendorp should be contacted if you are a junior or senior with questions about thesis topics, supervisors, thesis writer workshops or general questions about Social Studies. She is also the contact for sophomores interested in study abroad programs.
