Bréond Durr is a social and political theorist who works on punishment, free speech, and defamation. His research examines how legal, spatial, and symbolic forms shape our understandings of blame, legitimacy, and authority. He has written on juvenile sentencing, government speech, group defamation, and the architecture of incarceration, and is currently working on an article that centers on blame and suffering.
