Leslie Finger is a Lecturer on Government and Social Studies. She received her B.A. from Stanford University in 2007, spent three years teaching middle school, and then earned her Ph.D. in political science from Harvard University in 2017. Her research focuses on the politics of education. Her dissertation examined how various interest groups, from teachers' unions to foundations, shape education policymaking in the American states.
