When I first came to Harvard, I had a hard time balancing my diverse interests. I wanted to study both healthcare and human rights, as well as biology and policy. Fortunately, Social Studies allows me to explore while developing a broad framework through which to understand the world. Academically, I am interested in the intersection between medicine, healthcare, and public policy. In the past, I have conducted drug-delivery research at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences as well as policy research on healthcare and incarceration. The classes in Social Studies are rigorous, thought provoking, and tight-knit; the department is incredibly supportive. Joining Social Studies has truly been one of the best decisions I made here at Harvard. Please feel free to reach out if you want to talk!
