At the end of your junior year, we'll ask you to submit a thesis prospectus. Your prospectus should be about 4 pages in length (3-5 pages is acceptable), providing a narrative account of your thesis project and answering the following four questions:

1. What’s your research question?
2. What scholarly conversations and/or bodies of literature will it be situated within, and how?
3. What’s your method for answering your research question?
4. What might be a plausible argument based on your evidence?

You'll also need to attach a **bibliography** with a list of 10-15 secondary sources that you plan to draw on. You do not need to cite all those sources in your prospectus.

Your approved prospectus should be submitted as a Word (.doc/.docx) file via the Social Studies Juniors Canvas site (to which all juniors have access).
