Dr. Kenzie Bok, former Social Studies lecturer and current Administrator/CEO of the Boston Housing Authority, will present the Social Studies Narayan Lecture on Wednesday, March 20. Please join us in WJH 105 at 5:00 p.m. to hear her talk, "Justice in Housing: Theory & Practice."
In February, Social Studies will be offering Senior Thesis Presentation Workshops. These small-group, thematically organized workshops will provide an opportunity for you to present your work to your peers and to receive their feedback. Each student will present their work for approximately 15 minutes and then engage in a Q-and-A and group discussion. In the past, seniors have found these workshops to be excellent opportunities to get feedback at a key moment in the thesis-writing process and to learn about the work their peers are doing.
We will be holding a junior tutorial fair on Tuesday, November 7 from 5:00-6:00 on the 3rd floor of WJH. Almost all spring tutors will be present in person to talk about their courses.
